I cannot remember a time when I was not painting. Painting is my life. I can’t do anything
else and live. I could exist, but not live. I was born to be an artist.

Painting is a way of understanding the world around me and to visually communicate
some of the qualities that cannot be verbally articulated. My artwork expresses that which
my words cannot. My paintings are filled with analogies and symbols, like stones, spirals,
dots, tears, flowers, apples, water, waves, houses, etc…organized according to the formal
concerns of visual art. My hope in creating my artwork is that others may discover them for
themselves. Art is an ascension of the spirit, and once you let yourself be lifted in this colourful
path, it is absolutely impossible to go back to the point where you started your first step.
